Marisa heads the technical Broadcasting Operations division for CNBC Africa for both the Johannesburg and Cape Town facilities. She leads the technical team in South Africa and has the responsibility of ensuring that the channel is on air 24-7. She was also a member of the core team that set up CNBC Africa.
Marisa has specialized in television systems and the repair and maintenance of various types of broadcast equipment. She has a flair for problem solving and is passionate about finding creative solutions to complex business and technical problems in the broadcasting industry. Prior to joining CNBC Africa Marisa was employed with the SABC.
