JILL DE VILLIERS
Head of Features and Weekend Programming
Jill joined Africa Business News in January 2008 as the Head of programming. She is responsible for all programming and editorial decisions of the company and for implementing editorial guidelines of CNBC. Her duties also include aggregating news from across Africa and more specifically, for overseeing the editorial contribution of the company’s bureaus in Nigeria and Kenya.
Before joining CNBC Africa, Jill worked at BDFM where she was an Executive Producer at Summit TV for 5 years and then went on to be Executive Producer of The Home Channel for 3 years. Prior to her work at BDFM she spent 10 years with the SABC. Jill holds a BA degree and post graduate qualifications in management.
