- Yes. CNBC Africa strives to deliver content from all over Africa, currently covering the major African markets through bureaus in South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria, and continued coverage from other regions as and when the network expands.

- Yes. - Yes. Important business decisions are being made everyday and hence the most current information is often critical. CNBC Africa provides this information and analysis in real-time and up to date.
4. What will CNBC Africa’s local programming include?
- Programming from our African bureaus will include live coverage and in-depth analysis of regional business news and stock exchanges, as well as regular business, political & market updates. CNBC Africa will review corporate business news from Europe & the US with an African perspective. 6. What does CNBC stand for?
- CNBC is not an acronym in the traditional sense. When the dedicated channel was launched, it stood for Consumer News and Business Channel, but this is no longer the case.
7. Where will CNBC Africa be reporting from?
- CNBC Africa will be reporting from its network of offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town (South Africa), Nairobi (Kenya), Abuja and Lagos (Nigeria) and London (United Kingdom).
8. Why is there an intermittent picture and audio break on CNBC Europe?
- There is a satellite link problem between Johannesburg and London, and engineers in the UK are attending to the problem.
9. Why So Many Repeats Of Jay Leno/Conan O'Brien At The Moment?
- Due to the massive strike by film and TV screenwriters in the US at the moment, the NBC network and other networks are repeating programmes recorded earlier.
CNBC Africa does not control what programmes are repeated or sent via satellite from the US – these programmes are broadcast as they are received.
Producers of these programmes say new episodes will be recorded and broadcast as soon as the strike, which started in November, is resolved.
