Sasol extends BEE deal

Thu, 03 Jul 2008

Sasol's Inzalo Black Public Invitations have been extended to 9 July, the chemical and fuels company said on Wednesday.

"Anticipated last minute pressure on Post Offices has resulted in a three working day extension of the closing date for participation in the Sasol Inzalo Black Public Invitations," Sasol said in a statement.

Potential participants should ensure that if they were making payment by electronic fund transfers and bank issued cheques, they submitted their application forms and their payments by 3pm on Monday 7 July, Sasol said.

This would ensure that their payments were registered before the invitations closed.

If potential participants were making payment by cash or by debit card, they had to submit their application forms and their payments by 4pm on Wednesday 9 July, to ensure that their payments were registered before the invitations close, Sasol added.

"This three day extension will facilitate a smoother flow of applications and easier queue management at the Post Office," said Sasol executive director Nolitha Fakude.
