JSE REDUCES EQUITIES TRADING FEES BY 7.5% - SENS
Following strong growth in transactions on the equities market for the first six months of 2008 compared to the first 6 months of 2007, the JSE Limited is reducing the trading fees on its equities market by 7.5% with effect from 1 July 2008. A trade on the Main Board will now carry a trading fee of R6, 86 as opposed to the R7,42 it cost previously. A trade on the Alt-X Market will now cost R3, 43 as opposed to the R3, 71 it cost previously while a Warrants trade will now cost R4, 56 as opposed to the R4, 93 it cost previously.
