MONDI PURCHASES CZECH PAPER MILL - REUTERS

Norway's Norske Skog is in agreement to sell its Steti mill in the Czech Republic to paper producer MONDI at book value to cut costs, boosting its shares on Monday. The sale of the Czech mill, where newsprint production was halted at the end of May, is part of a restructuring programme by Norske Skog aimed at restoring profitability and follows its sale last month of two mills in South Korea.
