Hubert Brody to step down as Imperial CEO

Brody is expected to step down during the first half of the 2014 calendar year and the company is expected to find a suitable successor for the position of group chief executive officer.

Mr. Brody, BAcc (Hons), CA (SA) has been Chief Executive Officer of Imperial Holdings Ltd. since July 4, 2007 and serves as its Chairman of the Executive Board.

He is the executive responsible for Imperial Holdings treasury and Imperial Online. He worked in the Property, IT and banking industries, and before being transferred to Imperial Holdings in 2003, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Imperial Bank since joining in April 2000.

He served as Chief Executive of the Motor Division since July 2003. Mr. Broody serves as Chairman of Imperial Logistics and IBL Asset Finance and Services Limited. Mr. Broody serves as the Non-executive Chairman and Director of Imperial Bank Limited.

Brody serves as a Director of MiX Telematics Africa (Pty) Ltd. and MiX Telematics International (Pty) Ltd. He has been a Director of MiX Telematics Limited (formerly Telimatrix Ltd.) since August 1, 2010. He has been Executive Director of Imperial Holdings Ltd. since August 2006. Mr. Broody is a chartered accountant.
