Protech Khuthele Holdings Limited has successfully secured three separate contracts worth a total of 255 million rand.

According to a SENS announcement, the contracts are expected to further bolster the current order book.

“Despite a persistently tough operating environment in 2013, Protech has added these contracts to the order book, reflecting the Group’s long-term strategy of geographical and product diversification,” Protech CEO Antony Page said in a statement.

Protech is a broad-based civil engineering group based in South Africa. The group specialises in infrastructure developments, earthworks, roadworks, civil works, mining and mining infrastructure.

The contracts include the Alice Lane Bulk Earthworks and Lateral Support in Sandton, the Rail Bulk Earthworks contract in Limpopo Province, and the Bulk Earthworks contract in Pomona, in the East Rand.

“We are encouraged by the recent growth of the order book and remain cautiously optimistic about the year ahead,” said Page.
