Warburton’s resignation from the [DATA CLS:Clicks Group] is effect on 31 March.

“Since his return to the group in 2013, Keith has achieved the objectives set to reposition the Clicks brand for growth by improving the value offering, expanding the stores and pharmacy footprint, improving the contribution of private label, growing our customer loyalty and stemming the labour turnover in our pharmacies,” said David Kneale, Chief Executive Officer.

Vikesh Ramsunder, current managing director of UPD, will take over from Warburton as the chief operating officer of the Clicks brand from 1 April. Vikash Singh, the current UPD head of operations and distribution, will succeed Ramsunder as the managing director of UPD.

Warburton and Ramsunder will work together over the next two months to ensure a smooth changeover.
