SAIPA’s chief executive, Shahied Daniels has been recognised as one of the 50 most influential people in the global accountancy profession.
Daniels said recognition by the International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) was a reflection of SAIPA and the Professional Accountant (SA), who are established leaders in corporates.
“On being named to the Power 50 list is a reflection of SAIPA and the Professional Accountant (SA), who are established leaders in corporates, SMEs and micro enterprises, providing high-value, quality services,” said Daniels.
“Having completed a decade as chief executive of SAIPA, I am proud to be part of a professional organisation that plays a crucial role in representing its members. We advocate that the Professional Accountant (SA) should at all times ensure a value-added service to their clients and employers. This creates additional wealth for our economy and its people.”
Daniels added that the Professional Accountant (SA) is conscious that the success of the designation is embedded in the SAIPA values of professionalism, ethics, valuing people, excellence and integrity.
