New Sales Head at CNBC Africa

CNBC Africa announced the appointment of Mr Pule Molebeledi as CNBC Africa’s new Head of Sales today.Molebeledi is a seasoned media professional who spent the last few years as the General Manager of Sales at BDFM, where he was in charge of increasing revenue for the business news platforms within the BDFM/Avusa Group.
“South Africa functions within the African continent and it’s an exciting challenge to spread my wings within these diverse and rich markets,” says Molebeledi, ”There is no better time to go and explore the broader African market and I believe there is no better medium than CNBC Africa”.
Says Gary Alfonso, CNBC Africa's chief operating officer, ”We are hugely excited about the experience and energy Pule brings to CNBC Africa. I believe his insights into particularly the financial and business media environment will assist CNBC Africa’s sales strategy to deliver even greater results over the next few years”. Pule starts with CNBC Africa on 1 June 2009.
