Captains of Industry Launches

CNBC Africa is proud to announce the premier of a new show Captains Of Industry on 2 July 2009 at 21:00 presented by Bronwyn Nielsen.Head of Programming, Jill de Villiers, says Captains of Industry will be the definitive leadership series on television. Prominent CEOs who have already been interviewed or confirmed for the series include Discovery’s Adrian Gore, Barloworld’s Clive Thomson, Group 5’s Mike Upton, Investec’s Stephen Koseff, Nedbank’s Tom Boardman, First Rand’s Paul Harris and the newly anointed Sizwe Nxasana, Avusa’s Prakash Desai, Dimension Data’s Andile Ngaba and the IDC’s Geoffrey Qhena.
"With its prime-time premier slot at 9pm on Thursday nights, and repeat broadcasts on Saturdays and Sundays, this show will take a prominent position on CNBC Africa," she says.
"This is where you will get to know the top business leaders face-to-face, watch as they field tough questions about the performance of their companies, and get insight into how their minds work as they discuss the strategies that got them to the pinnacle of their sector, and share their leadership philosophy," adds de Villiers.
