Bronwyn Nielsen has been with CNBC Africa since its launch in 2007.

As one of the first faces to join the channel, Nielsen comes with over nine years in the South African broadcasting industry with numerous accolades to her name including the 2006 Telkom ICT Journalist of the Year.

She is best known for her weekday evening program Business Tonight, wrapping up the days business news and speaking to some of the most influential personalities in business. Furthermore she presents Closing Bell and specialized late evening programming.

Nielsen also uses her broadcast experience to provide top corporate executives with intensive media training.

Some of her highlights at CNBC Africa include the hosting of the live CNBC Africa Debate at the World Economic Forum on Africa in 2007, the first time that the channel was represented at this event, and presenting Captains of Industry, a program that features interviews with top leadership of African companies.

Her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Town has given her credibility in a highly competitive arena.
