Gauteng motorists have been voicing their dissatisfaction over Sanral's e-tolling system. Complaints on Hellopeter.com have surged in recent weeks including problems with e-tags, the call centre and inaccurate billing.

Transport Minister Dipuo Peters has revealed that e-tolling will commence from the third of December. She added that those without tags will pay double the toll fee and will not benefit from any discounts.
