South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma in what could be described as the night of the long knives has reshuffled his Cabinet, see list below. Those to receive the purge include Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan and his Deputy Mcebisi Jonas.

8. Minister of Public Service and Administration, Ms Faith Muthambi
9. Minister of Home Affairs, Prof Hlengiwe Mkhize
10. Minister of Communications, Ms Ayanda Dlodlo
