Nigeria’s economy projected to expand

The International Monetary Fund has projected that the Nigerian economy will expand by 1.9 per cent in 2018. However, IMF believes this growth will remain subdued due to population growth as the country’s projected growth is still lower than its population growth rate of 2.7 per cent.
