Rwanda takes a leaf out of Singapore’s vocational training books, embarks on TVETs

In 2011 Rwanda officiated the Technical and Vocational training a strategy to achieve EDPRS 2 goals of wealth creation moving forward with the Vision2020, a case study of Singapore’s unemployment approach to Scale up the industry, upgrading labour skills and improving productivity on the back of TVETs. On July 17, 2017 the country signed a $120 Million loan from the World Bank part of which will be directed to the development of the TVETs yet again to ensure quality education and competitiveness.
