WEF flagship Global Gender Gap Report and it shows that the gap has actually widened globally. South Africa drops 4 places to 19th out of 144 countries in 2017’s Global Gender Gap Index, which makes South Africa the third most gender equal country in Sub-Saharan Africa after Rwanda and Namibia.
