Sibanye-Stillwater, Lonmin merger is in the best interest for shareholders – CEO Magara

Sibanye-Stillwater has made a bid to buy Lonmin in an all-share deal worth around $382m. Lonmin, the world’s third biggest platinum producer, has been under pressure from low platinum prices and slow growth in the South African economy.
