SA Inc has scored some spectacular own goals in recent history, despite warnings from global rating agencies about the dire consequences of a cabinet reshuffle – we had one. Now S&P is warning that it could cut South Africa’s creditworthiness even deeper into junk territory if the government meddles with the "critical" independence of the Reserve Bank.
