EAC’s big economies set to borrow $12bn to stifle deficits

Last week, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda unveiled their fiscal plans for the for the 2018/18 fiscal year with the trio planning to borrow more than $12 billion to stifle budget deficits. Amid the global uncertainty however, is it the time to borrow more? Dumi Jere, CEO at AfricaCatalysts joins CNBC Africa for more.
