Equatorial Guinea’s Gabriel Obiang Lima on benefits of being a member of OPEC

Last year Equatorial Guinea became the 14th country to join the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and is one of seven African countries within the organisation. The country’s Minister of Mines and Hydrocarbons Gabriel Obiang Lima spoke to CNBC Africa on the side-lines of Africa oil and power week about what the membership has done for Equatorial Guinea’s oil sector, and the rise of African Influence within OPEC.
