Since October this year, Tanzania’s cashew nut which is the most valuable export crop in the country, has been hit by a price-induced crisis that saw agriculture and trade ministers sacked and the cashew nut Board of Tanzania disbanded. Fahad Awadh, Chief Cashew Officer at YYTZ Agro-Processing joins CNBC Africa to discuss sustainable ways to put an end to the crisis.
