Tackling the metering challenge in Nigeria

Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics says the total number of power consumers with prepaid meters rose by 1.59 percent in the second quarter. Earlier this year, the Meter Asset Provider Regulation was introduced by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission to help close the metering gap.
