Grand Parade has had a turbulent year. This week its CEO, Prabashinee Moodley resigned ahead of its annual general meeting yesterday – the third in less than 24 months. In search of value minority shareholders threatened a coup at the investment holding company which is a franchisee for Burger King. One of these shareholders is Westbrooke Alternative Asset Management. Its co-founder and manager of the Westbrooke Special Opportunities Fund, Jarred Winer, who was at the AGM joins CNBC Africa for more.
