Old Mutual released its annual financial results for the full year ended 31 December 2018. The company announced it had suffered severely due to declining economic conditions; headline earnings dropped 12 per cent to 239.1 cents. The insurance company have attributed the drop in earnings, in part, to high unemployment rates, VAT and fuel hikes.
