Rwanda announces new $88mn MICE target

MICE tourism sector being one of Rwanda’s leading foreign exchange earners, it’s no surprise that the country is moving full steam ahead towards being a hub for events. The Rwanda Convention Bureau has today announced that they have their eyes set on a USD$88 million target for the 2019/2020 fiscal year up from this year’s $74 million target. CNBC Africa spoke to Nelly Mukazayire, CEO of Rwanda Convention Bureau on their strategic plan to achieve this.
