Sim Tshabalala on FY earnings, addressing SA’s tepid growth

Standard Bank released its annual results for the full year ended on 31 December 2018. The blue bank was able to increased headline earnings per share were up 7 per cent to 1748 cents. Standard Bank’s board declared 970 cents dividend which up 7 per cent since the previous year. The bank reported strong results thanks to reduced currency fluctuations and good performance in Angola, Ghana, Mozambique, Nigeria and Uganda.
