Rwandan exports dropped by 24 per cent in the 2nd quarter of 2020 mainly due to COVID-19. Furthermore, before the pandemic broke out, Rwanda was selling majority of its products to regional markets but restrictions triggered by the pandemic resulted into more exports being shipped to European markets.
