Kenya market watch: T-bills oversubscribed as interest rates rise
During the week, T-bills were oversubscribed, with the overall subscription rate coming in at 104.2 per cent down from 126.6 per cent, the previous week. Moreover, the equities market was on a downward trajectory, with both the NASI and NSE 20 declining by 0.2 per cent while NSE 25 declined by 0.8 per cent respectively. Beatrice Mwangi, Lead Researcher at Cytonn spoke to CNBC Africa for more.
