Nigeria experiences renewed spike in COVID-19 cases

With over 1200 new COVID-19 cases in Nigeria since Sunday the 6th of December, Nigeria is witnessing a renewed spike in the number of new cases with 550 new cases reported on Tuesday evening. This comes as the vaccine hopes gains traction in the United Kingdom after the first Pfizer vaccine was administered to a 90-year-old grandmother.
