Results of COVID-19 tests done on 17 March 2021 confirm 18 new cases. The cumulative confirmed cases are 40,625. 

The breakdown of the new cases are: 18 contacts and alerts: Kampala (10) Arua (2) Nakapiripirit (2) Adjumani (1) Kasese (1) Soroti (1) Wakiso (1).
