Ghana embarks on aggressive revenue drive, targets 60bn cedis in 2021

Ghana is setting the bar high for revenue collection this year, with a 32 per cent increase in the government’s target for 2021 at 60 billion cedis. The Ghana Revenue Authority will roll out new tax measures starting from May 1st as part of this renewed drive. Abdallah Ali-Nakyea, Director of Ali-Nakyea and Associates and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana’s School of Law joins CNBC Africa for more.
