Italy’s Agnelli and France’s Peugeot, the largest shareholders in Stellantis, have signed a consultation agreement, holding companies representing the two families said on Wednesday, on the eve of the carmakers’ first annual general meeting.

CREVAL

Credit Agricole Italia has decided to increase the price of its buyout offer for Italy’s Creval and is now ready to pay 12.2 euros per share up from the initial 10.5 euros, the lender said, confirming what a source had told Reuters.

The Italian arm of French bank Credit Agricole would further increase the price paid for each Creval share to 12.5 euros if shares corresponding to more than 90% of the bank’s capital were tendered.

ATLANTIA

Italy’s government will decide later on whether to use the so-called ‘golden powers’ in Atlantia’s planned sale of its motorway unit Autostrade per l’Italia, Infrastructure Minister Enrico Giovannini told Rai TV channel on Wednesday.

Spanish infrastructure group ACS has hired French investment bank Societe Generale to advise it on its up to 10 billion euro ($11.98 billion) potential offer for Autostrade per l’Italia, two sources with knowledge of the matter said on Wednesday.

The Italian infrastructure group will hold a board meeting on Friday to decide whether the binding offer presented in March by the CDP-led consortium could be submitted to a shareholders meeting in the coming month.

Atlantia said traffic on its Italy motorways rose 217% year-on-year last week.

MEDIASET

The Italian broadcaster remains open to considering any “good proposal” from shareholder Vivendi despite the fact that there are media companies that would be a better fit for Mediaset, CFO Marco Giordani told The Voice of Business in a video interview. “Any idea that gets thrown our way we would consider it,” he said.

The eyewear company said on Wednesday that an agreement has been reached with the trade unions and the work council regarding the closure of the Ormož production site in Slovenia starting from June.
