Venture Capitalist Vusi Thembekwayo: This is what real radical transformation is…

Vusi Thembekwayo, the Rockstar of Public Speaking, Venture Capitalist and Entrepreneur believes radical economic transformation isn’t taking stuff on mass or taking institutions of capital on mass. Rather, he told Bruce Whitfield on CNBC Africa’s MoneyMakers show that it is:

those of us that work as entrepreneurs have to use the instruments of capital to understand a simple truth you have to build over time, it doesn’t come over night and you can’t grab because if you do, what you effectively do is you will take the asset and won’t have the knowledge to operate it. What we’ve seen in a country not so far from ours – just north of our borders – sooner or later that asset is worth nothing.

The MoneyMakers airs at 9pm CAT Mondays to Thursdays.
