FoodTrade seeks solutions to increase Africa's food output
Although food production and marketing systems throughout East Africa have under-performed for the past few years, FoodTrade and the World Food Programme have found ways around this through stimulating regional trade in surplus staple foods and ultimately trade. Saori Kitajima from United Nations joins CNBC Africa to shed some light on what's being done to improve small holder farmers' output.
