China, US battle for influence in Africa

China and United States are battling for influence in African infrastructure lending. This is according to a new research by Baker McKenzie. This report shows that development finance lending from state-backed institutions is the most important component of infrastructure funding in the sub-Saharan. Most interesting from this research titled 'A Changing World: New trends in emerging market infrastructure', is that African economies will come out the big winner in all this.
