Nigeria’s downstream sector sees renewed activity
Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva says the heavily criticised plan by the government to resume fuel importation from its neighbour Niger Republic, should not be seen as an embarrassment’ but as a means of promoting intra-regional trade. In the same breath, the National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) says Nigeria would be a net exporter of petrol by 2023.
