WEF: How Covid-19 has reversed gender parity efforts by a generation
As the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic continues to unfold, another generation of women will have to wait for gender equality. This is because the gender gap has grown by an additional 36 years. According to the latest World Economic Forum Gender Gap Report, South Africa fell 1 ranking, and is now 18th out of 156 economies. Joining CNBC Africa to discuss the findings of the report is Saadia Zahidi, Managing Director at the World Economic Forum.
