Standard Chartered’s Bedu-Addo discusses the private sector’s key role in AfCFTA success
The African Continental Free trade Area, is a signature achievement of African leaders unparalled in recent times. It creates a common market for Africa's 55 territories with a combined spending power in excess of $3.5 trillion dollars. Most economic experts have warned that there will be no bonanza unless there is complete buy-in from the private sector.
