Covid-19: African airlines continue to record losses

With the alarming spread of the Delta variant, the havoc caused by the Covid-19 pandemic particularly on the aviation industry is far from over. African airlines are estimated to have lost $2.4 billion in the second quarter of 2021, according to the latest update from the African Airlines Association. Berthe Abderahmane, the Association’s Secretary General spoke to CNBC Africa for more.
