SA banks hit hard by violent riots

The Banking Association of South Africa has reported that 1400 ATM’s and 300 branches were vandalized in last week’s violence. One bank that has not been spared is African Bank. Much of their property has been damaged, despite their decision to close their branches before the violence intensified.
