Will OPEC+ respond to US emergency crude release?
The United States says it will sell 32 million barrels of crude from four Strategic Petroleum Reserve sites between late December and April 2022. This is after several calls by President Joe Biden for major oil producers to pump more oil into the market. How will OPEC+ respond to this move by the US, when they meet next week to discuss oil demand and supply? Kola Karim, Chairman of Shoreline Group, joins CNBC Africa for more.
