Youth for zero malaria infections in SSA

Malaria continues to pose significant socio-economic challenges across sub-Saharan Africa. According to WHO, the disease has so far cost Africa at least $117 billion in productivity from sickness. Youth and scientists from around the world are now turning up the pressure on global leaders to invest funds totalling US$18 billion at the Global Fund’s Seventh Replenishment towards ending malaria. Award-winning Rwandan/British choreographer Sherrie Silver is among the young brains behind this push, and she joins CNBC Africa for more.
