Kenya’s smart city Konza angles for big American tech firms

Kenya’s smart city initiative dubbed Konza Technopolis is well on course to position the country as a technology hub in Africa. The multi-billion-shilling project seeks to drive the country into a middle-income economy by 2030. President William Ruto's government last year signed a letter of intent with the US Government a move likely to draw in the big tech American companies to invest in the venture. CNBC Africa's Aby Agina spoke to John Paul Okwiri, CEO, Konza Technopolis for more.
