Rwanda's GDP grew 7% in Q2 vs year ago period

KIGALI, Sept 23 (Reuters) – Rwanda’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew 7 percent in the second quarter from a year earlier, helped by expansion in the industry, agriculture and services sectors, the statistics office said on Wednesday.

In a statement, the National Institute of Statistics said the industry sector grew by 10 percent, while agriculture expanded 5 percent and the service sector grew by 6 percent.
