BCX appoints new CEO


“Tony Ruiters, chairman of the board, commented that Isaac was the natural choice of successor to Benjamin given his background as co-founder of Business Connexion, and his intimate understanding of the operations and culture of the company,” Business Connexion (BCX) said in a statement.

[DATA BCX:Business Connexion] is an information technology and communications  firm headquartered in South Africa.

In June, then-BCX CEO and co-founder Benjamin Mophatlane passed away following a cardiac arrest.

Isaac is Benjamin’s twin brother, and current head of sales and marketing and executive of the Canoa division. Canoa Group is a BCX acquisition.

In May, South African telecommunications firm Telkom announced plans to buy the entire issued ordinary share capital of BCX.
