ArcelorMittal chief financial officer resigns


This is in line with the Listings Requirements of the JSE, shareholders were advised that after the end of Wellhausen’s two year assignment at [DATA ACL:ArcelorMittal], he resigns.

“On behalf of the board of directors, we thank Matthias for the excellent cooperation and his contributions to sustainably improve the Company during his tenure as chief financial officer. His succession will assure continuation of the path on improved grounds.   We wish him success in his future endeavours,” said Mpho Makwana, chairman of the board.

Gerhard Van Zyl will take up the position of acting chief financial officer from 15 March until the vacancy is filled.
