<p>According to the World Health Organization, pregnancy-related deaths and diseases remain unacceptably high, for example in 2015, an estimated 303,000 women died from pregnancy-related causes globally. Over the past decade, the number of women giving birth in Rwanda’s professional healthy facilities increased from 69 per cent to 91 per cent.
