Minister Uzziel Ndagijimana speaks on Rwanda’s official poverty numbers

Rwanda’s poverty rate reduced to 38.2 per cent in 2017 from 39.1 per cent in 2014 while extreme poverty reduced marginally from 16.3 per cent to 16 per cent according to the latest integrated household living conditions survey. Dr. Uzziel Ndagijimana, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning explain why there has not been significant progress.
